He writes with a pen, dials the telephone, shaves, brushes his teeth, and combs his hair with his left foot. People around town see him pushing his lawn mower, planting trees, even cutting wood with his chainsaw. Marty even saved a woman's life when he kicked in a window of a burning car. Marty Ravelette has overcome tremendous odds to live a life both extraordinary and inspiring.

  TRANSGENDER TEENS - (1 x 50 min)

"What am I ... a boy or a girl?" A transgender person perceives their body to be one sex, while their brain says they are the opposite sex. Although there are families who stand by their children through this transition, many are thrown out of their homes, often leading to a desperate life of depression, prostitution, and even suicide. This program tells the story of two transgender teenagers and the people who help them live with their identity.

  SAVING LIFE AND LIMB - (2 x 50 min)

Imagine loosing a limb in an accident, an arm or a leg ripped from your body! Dramatic reenactments and actual surgical footage of stories such as: Wayne's arm was bitten off by an alligator; using skin and muscles from other parts of his body, his arm has been reconstructed. Tim fell face first into the rotating blades of a lawn mower; surgeons constructed a brand new face for Tim. During a car crash Justin was impaled by a six-foot pole; to save his life, rescuers transported him to the hospital with the pole still in place.
